Street Fighter: Legacy


Street Fighter Legacy is a liveaction short fan film based on Capcoms popular fighting game series Street Fighter. The film is a Streetlight Films production, codirected by Joey Ansah of The Bourne Ultimatum and Owen Trevor, produced by Jacqueline Quella and stars Jon Foo as Ryu, Christian Howard as Ken, and Ansah himself as AkumaGouki. Both Ansah and Howard are also the writers of the film.

The film follows Ryu after waking up from a nightmare about Akuma. While walking in the forest, he is followed by a mysterious warrior revealed to be Ken Masters, Ryus old friend and sparring partner. The two have a match together using their signature moves Hadken, Shoryuken, Tatsumaki Senp Kyaku in the day time and night time in the rain. The film ends with the two in midair about to kick.Joey Ansah and Christian Howard announced at San Diego Comic Con 2012 that they are working on a TV series of Street Fighter titled Street Fighter Assassins Fist which was released on May 23, 2014. On April 7, 2013, Ansah and Howard launched a Kickstarter campaign for the series. ActorStuntman Mike Moh is announced to play Ryu. Japanese actors Togo Igawa is on board in the series as Goutetsu, Akira Koieyama will be portraying Gouken and actorstuntman Mark Killeen will be playing Mr. Masters, Kens father. Howard and Ansah reprised their roles as Ken and Akuma. A second season titled Street Fighter World Warrior was announced by Ansah. The crew will also work on a mini series called Street Fighter Resurrection which will be release in March 2015. ........
